problems, more spice than is necessary is used resulting in excess usage and high
spice waste. The problem is further aggravated by dust flying in the air from the
spice being applied. The Improved Approach SAS technology solves the quality issues by improving (spice) consistency and reducing applied spice cost. The SAS equipment applies a static charge to the powder, oil or slurry while it is being sprayed on the base product. Because the spice powder or liquid is now charged it is attracted to the base product in need of coating.
